Elaine B. Kay

I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and have been practicing in the medical field for over 24 years. As a nurse, my knowledge of people as integrated, holistic beings has always been the basis of my care. My current interests and concentration is focused on helping people feel good about themselves and helping them find joy in their life. I utilize traditional medicine and integrative modalities such as nutritional and organic acid testing (NutrEval®), meditation and Reiki to create an individualized plan that addresses each person’s needs, and help them to explore their desires and potential.

In addition to a BA in psychology from the University of Arizona, BSN from UMass Boston, and MSN from UMass Lowell, I have had formal training in meditation and, Reiki, as a massage therapist and EMDR practitioner. I have worked in the field of psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital in Boston, MA, locally at Sierra Tucson in the Mood Program, and have also seen patients for medication management and counseling in private practice. My experience and training includes working with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD those recovering from addiction, and work with the LGBTQ community.
